The Golf Channel Invitational for The First Tee (The Invitational) is a premiere national golf and marketing event featuring a competitive two-day, 36-hole tournament for business executives and their guests. The executives and their guests enjoy an excellent program of leadership, golf and fellowship at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Ga., one of the South's most storied golf venues and acclaimed resorts. The Invitational supports The First Tee chapters nationwide and in five countries around the globe.

A huge feature of Golf Channel Invitational is the participation by youth from chapters of The First Tee throughout the world. On Sunday, 72 youth players compete in their own golf tournament, sponsored by Shell Oil. 36 qualifiers play Monday alongside the business executives and their guests.

Each corporate foursome will have a youth First Tee participate serve as honorary corporate team captain. Participating adults will experience first-hand the impact The First Tee is having on these youngsters - their lives and their golf game.
