The Invitational for The First Tee celebrates its 4th annual event

Atlanta, GA - The 4th Annual Invitational for The First Tee will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia, November 5-7, 2006.

The Invitational for The First Tee is one of only two national events benefiting The First Tee. A one-hour television show, produced by Kestrel Communications, will be broadcast on The Golf Channel in December 8, 2006 highlighting some of the tournament.

The Invitational for the First Tee is a two-day golf tournament comprised of executives from leading corporations across the country. In 2005, the winning team captured the championship and won a special custom designed trophy crafted by Waterford Crystal.

The Invitational for The First Tee will be held at Reynolds Plantation at the comfortable Ritz-Carlton Lodge in Greensboro, Georgia where they will enjoy a host of amenities. Teams will compete on the Oconee and Great Waters course designed by Rees Jones and Jack Nicklaus, respectively.

"The purpose of this event is to create an opportunity for executives to mix with their clients and colleagues in a competitive, yet relaxed, golf and social environment while, at the same time, supporting the goals and objectives of The First Tee", said Joe Louis Barrow, Jr, executive director of The First Tee.

The event will also include youth participation from surrounding First Tee chapters. One First Tee participant will be paired with one foursome for a round of golf. This year's event will again include a clinic for youth and corporate executives from a professional touring player. There will be thirty-six (36) holes of team competition with teams captained by The First Tee Chapter youth on Monday, November 6, 2006.

Sponsor packages are available and may include television billboards, vignettes and special promotion segments, print promotion, and an on site signage.
